First Time Failures

I normally don’t start with outfit shots.  Usually I have to work up to them, but I’m posting this one because I don’t really have any other pics.  Plus it’s a kind of fun pic?  Geez, I am lame when I write about my own clothes.  Seeing myself in pictures actually makes me really uncomfortable and writing about myself is even worse.  Personal statements are the bane of my existence.  Too bad I’ve had to write so freaking many lately.  Writing personal statements makes me cringe terribly inside.  That’s my little spiel for the day.  Moving along.

The tights have an awesome print on them.  I wish I had remembered to capture them from the back too.  Ah well, another time.

When I first saw these shoes I was so struck by the heel that I didn’t really notice how cool the straps are until now…….  Definitely need to be more observant and less magpie.  I got them at Topshop’s buy one get one free sale so they essentially cost me $25.  Insanity.  Oh January sales, what you do to me.

Now I’m posting about something else because if I don’t this post is going to really bother me with it’s whole “smacks of narcissism” vibe.  Oh and also, these are crazy and must be discussed.

It’s a tubeflop……..  A flip-flop with a sock attachment?  The summer equivalent of a boot?  Totally going to give you awful tan lines?  Well, that one’s an obvious yes. If these catch on people are going to be wandering around with the leg version of a farmer’s tan.
