Food, fashion, and some occasional failure. Randomness as well because this is a tumblr after all.

Day 1

First off, thanks for all of the lovely responses to my last post.  Glad you guys liked the giraffe sweatshirt as much as I did!

I think I got ridiculously lucky with my current part-time job and this internship.  Both places are so laid-back and everyone I work with is amazingly nice.  Today was my first day interning and I actually think I’m going to gush about working for no money.  It rocks!  And not once did I have to fetch coffee.  Instead I got to set up schedules for buyers from Lane Crawford and Joyce in between reading Jalouse and flipping through “The Book”.

Let me introduce you to The Book.

This beauty is compiled by the company and it’s basically a guide to designers, events, food, and art around the city.  So basically it’s a book chock full of everything I give a shit about.  They let me borrow a copy for the day.  I’m going to start a covert campaign to get a copy of my own though.

Hey I’ve been there!  They have delicious delicious fried comté cheese.

Now I’m going to diverge completely and post an outfit shot that’s been sitting on my laptop.

F21 embellished shoulder cardigan.  Thrifted skirt.  H&M leggings and Zara shoes.

I got these shoes during Fashion’s Night Out so they bring up good memories.  Ahh consumerism.

And the randomness continue.  I now wish to ask if any of you have gone to an Anthropologie lately.  If you have, then you’ll know exactly what this pic is.

I saw this in not one, but three freaking Anthropologies and the one downtown actually had two of them standing around a table.  Who decides how the stores are decorated?  Who’s sitting around thinking “you know what we should make?  Life-size ostriches, that’s what.”?  Of course, I’m kind of in love with it.  Screw shredded t-shirts.  My next DIY is a paper ostrich!
