Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’ve been reading Too Many Tights for awhile now and I’ve been following James and all of the crazy tights he makes, but I’ve never bought my own pair. Until now. Week after week of reading about 2-way stretch fabric and doing away with the saggy knee problem finally got to me. I caved and bought the Full Slicks while they were on sale.

They’re so shiny! The superhero costume possibilities are endless. If I saved up for one of his bodysuits I’d be Catwoman/ass kicking-ready. Actually Selina Kyle could totally rock these everyday.

Worn with Nine West pumps, yellow dress from when I was really young, a Wet Seal suspender skirt, and H&M crop cardigan closed by one of my mom’s funky 80s pins. This is my attempt at dressing down the tights, which I realized is kind of difficult since they’re, well, full-on PVC.
In the end I was very impressed with the quality of the leggings and the fit. The fabric is perfectly tight and creates an impressive effect. Plus there’s enough stretch to wear the bottoms over your feet if you so wish. Since it’s winter here I also don’t have to worry about the PVC getting hot issue. I even wore these to cook and it was no problem.
I decided to get some baking done in the outfit, which actually worked out really well because PVC leggings, surprisingly easy to dust flour off of.

Pioneer Woman’s sugar cookies. The recipe told me it would yield 18 cookies, but somehow I ended up with at least twice that amount. And I didn’t make small cookies either. I really have no idea how I could have ended up with so many more cookies than the expected amount. Though surprise extra delicious sugar cookies are never something to complain about.

And this my friends, is a pumpkin dump cake. What you see here is pumpkin pie filling topped by a layer of crunchy dry yellow cake mix and browned butter. I kid you not. It was so heavenly good that I think I might have to say I enjoy this more than regular pumpkin pie. GASP! I know! How unpatriotic and lacking in holiday spirit of me! It’s ok though because you’ll totally forgive me once I feed you a slice.
